Darkness and silence envelop my senses. The midnight comforts me, as it means sleep will soon come. It's my favourite part of my existence, where I get to be as close to non-existence as possible. I feel something creep through my body; it isn't sleep. The loneliness has found me, and it settles in the pit of my stomach to begin it's feast. I have time to mourn the loss before I am consumed.
