Sweet Kehoe has had some congestion/sneezing over the last few days--it became really pronounced over the weekend, with lots of mucus and violent sneezing. Today, you can hear the congestion as she rests/breathes.
So tomorrow I need to call the vet. She hates the vet. And I'm not understating her antipathy--her hair leaps from her body in huge clumps, she starts trembling and drooling terribly, and the slightest touch makes her yelp as though she was dying (she's gotta flair for the dramatic).
If I'm lucky, I'll be able to schedule a house visit with the vet, but I suspect they'll want to bring her in. I'm hoping I'll have the presence of mind to ask for her latest shots and all that, but once Kehoe gets going, I'm not much calmer.
All I want to do is hide my head in the sand and hope it resolves itself. But I've already probably put this off a day or two longer than I should have.
Feels like I'm barely staying ahead of the storm some days.
