Phase one of Yolo: Hero's Overdrive USB
This sword is based off of a short story I've been developing about a kid who's been given the name of a popular video game icon similar to Mario, simply because his father is the one who invented it. Always living in the shadow of the spotlight of the successful character never made our hero very confident and he resents his dad for putting all his time towards these games and not towards him. Busy as a man as he was up until his death, our hero's dad manages to leave him a USB of his next game he never completed after passing. After discovering the USB Hero plugs it into a computer, and an AR environment surrounds the character and the sword transforms to the one below, and the words pop out, "To my first true Hero, my son," and the game begins.
I envisioned a comic book series to this tale made off of Unity, which is a whole other project in it of itself. The main goal for this project however was to model and texture this sword to be properly printed on the zcorp powder printers and make an AR element to the project.
