Ashton, the wild kitty, stalks her prey
This is her favorite time of year, when not-summer finally arrives and the porch can be open to her again. As the most feral of my cats, she always seems a little closer to her roots, and she loves pretending she's going to catch all of the things in the wild word beyond the screened door. I often catch her stalking things I can't see, and I concluded her lack of depth perception means that just about anything that moves is close enough to stalk, including airplanes (up the screen she goes!) or the waving boughs of trees. I hope none of the lizards out there are dumb, because one coming inside the screen would make her day.
