Here we have a shot from one of Icelands most famous and iconic locations, the epic lava beach Breidamerkursandur.
I know a lot of you have been there, but for those who not:
Just behind this beach lays the glacial lagoon Jökusarlon. As the glacier is slowly melting the lagoon is full of icebergs, which tend to drift into the open sea through a narrow passage.
As the sea out there in the arctic is pretty brave these chunks of ice get washed back to the shelf and there they make up an everchanging playground for every landscape photographer.
I really love this particular one and returned several times that day to capture it before it melted.
Join me and @stianklo on a workshop where we will be chasing the Aurora borealis in the night and visit some stunning locations during daytime. Where? Lofoten islands in Norway!
