About artist - @fer_cristinaoficial
Surrender. It is the perfect word to describe the visual arts in the life of the artist Fernanda Cristina. Since childhood, she has always been fascinated and interested in life and everything she represents - from birth to death, from successes and mistakes, gains and losses and everything that surrounds her. Always very shy and curious, every discovery - often alone - fascinated her.
Over time, she understood better what the visual arts were to her. During adolescence, perhaps because of the height of the changes, his feelings and feelings became clearer, originating in almost 40 paintings painted until the 18 years. Two years later, she entered the Interior Design course - which she did not identify - from a teacher she heard that she would not have a way to do the arts. And then, for now, she gave up - That teacher did not know that she was at the head of an artist and because she was very sensitive, she stayed until she was 30 without touching a brush if she wants to. In this range of visual arts, Fernanda spent time between the Suruwaha tribe and the riverine ones in the North region of the country where the short film "Hakani" was born, of which she was responsible for the direction of art. Some time later he came to Ilhota - SC one of the saddest experiences of his life where he volunteered to help in the disaster of the city that devastated his population both physically and emotionally.
At age 28, she was taken by surprise with the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. And after a period of loss and transformation, the arts returned to his life. She won a small screen as a gift and, without sketching any reaction, the joy and anguish she wanted to make happen in her heart returned. Even when she felt pain and all the physical and psychological effects of the disease at the time, Fernanda resumed painting-on that canvas she had won from her sister-and, passing a layer of paint on her, she felt a relief, a sense of rebirth, if the act diminished all the problems he was facing. It brought strength and hope for the hard times.
Fernanda is self-taught, everything she does she has learned for herself and can transform her acquired knowledge into something very powerful. Her life experiences have always been inspiring, she has as reference for her work the human psyche and the spirituality of the human being and it is through abstract expressionism, where she creates her work, which makes her paintings come alive, of everything, textures, shadows and light that go beyond what our eyes can actually see. When she paints, it is like a mirror, where she portrays her emotions, her feelings, everything that has led her to that moment. But when a client looks at his work, the "mirror" reverses and confronts the one who contemplates it, transferring all that feeling and intensity.
The paints are the great helpers of the artist, it is through the strong colors that contrast the tonalities and generate a certain annoyance. And that is exactly what makes your works so desired. To have a work of this artist is to see life through her paintings. Being a very expressive person, even if shy, she believes that the human being can reconnect, start over and change for the better, always. Her works are a reflection of what she inspires, of that strength and faith that she lives daily, besides being an invitation to decipher them or be deciphered.
