Trying out some new fiber prep. It's a cormo-silk-angelina blend rolled into a puni. I hear this is reserved for cotton, but that's the term the fiber seller used. I've only spun from combed top, and this is much harder to draft at times. Now I know I'm not a fan of angelina. This has a lot of vm and what I think classifies as kemp. Definitely a learning experience. I do like the way the silk blends in though.
I learned to chain ply as I spin, which helps a lot because I tend to spin a tiny single.
