Game No. 135 — September 1, 2017
Red Sox starter Doug Fister has gone from a serviceable replacement to a dominating threat on the mound. He baffled the Yankees lineup over seven innings, giving up just one run and four hits. Boston’s offense powered their way to victory, notching three home runs to score their four runs.
For every Red Sox game this season, we will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red. Follow the whole project here or get weekly recaps in your inbox.
We'll be publishing the entire season's worth of visualizations in a 6x9-inch, softcover, perfect-bound book! Preorder at foredesign.co/soxscores.
