Game No. 96 — July 19, 2017
Dustin Pedroia and Devin Marrero combined for five RBI in just two at-bats in the second inning, providing a big enough lead for the Sox to hold off the Blue Jays for the rest of the game. Drew Pomeranz earned his tenth win of the season, allowing only three hits and no earned runs in nearly seven innings of work.
For every Red Sox game this season, we will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red. Follow the whole project here or get weekly recaps in your inbox.
