Game No. 030 — May 06, 2017
The Red Sox haven’t been able to score the last four times Rick Porcello’s been on the mound but that all changed yesterday when Boston’s offense exploded on the Minnesota Twins. Outfielder Chris Young collected two home runs, Sandy León added one of his own, and Dustin Pedroia knocked in three runs. Porcello picked up just his second victory of the season despite a low 1.83 ERA over his last three starts.
For every Red Sox game this season, we will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red.
