Game No. 064 — June 13, 2017
Tuesday’s game against the worst-in-the-majors Phillies crept deep into the night, going into extra innings for the second night in a row. This time, Philadelphia came from behind to tie the game in the sixth inning. There would be no more scoring until the twelfth when Red Sox left fielder Andrew Benintendi hit a walk-off double to claim the win, the first of his career.
For every Red Sox game this season, we will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red.
