Game No. 016 — April 20, 2017
Both teams had a hard time scoring on Wednesday afternoon in Toronto, with the first run crossing the plate with two outs in the top of the ninth inning. Looking to pick up the save, Kimbrel promptly gave up a solo home run to the first batter he faced but was able to hold the Blue Jays to just that one run as his team racked up another three runs in the tenth to seal the deal.
For every Red Sox game this season, we will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red.
