Game No. 156 — September 26, 2017
The last place Blue Jays took an early lead in Monday night’s contest against the division leaders with Josh Donaldson sending the fourth pitch he saw in the ballgame into a light stanchion in center field. He’d haunt Drew Pomeranz again in the second inning, driving in two more runs to help his team end Boston’s six-game win streak.
For every Red Sox game this season, we will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red. Follow the whole project here or get weekly recaps in your inbox.
We'll be publishing the entire season's worth of visualizations in a 6x9-inch, softcover, perfect-bound book! Preorder at foredesign.co/soxscores.
