A subterranean Victorian era cistern located below a public space in London, UK. Thousands of people walk over it each day and likely know nothing of its existence. It measures 120m by 80m and was built in 1867 by the East London Waterworks company. These days it sits unused but is sometimes used as a filming location (Skyfall, Paddington, Shelock Game of Shadows)
This shot helped me win the Arcaid Architectural Photographer of the Year Award 2016.
