Even in wasted industrial locations that are gradually falling apart as they succumb the the forces of nature, beauty can still be found. As photographers or artists, it is a self appointed task to seek out these places and to capture this beauty and bring it to the fore, I see it as a form of celebration of everything that has gone before. These places in a way are like people, they had a life before their current state, when they were inhabited or places of work. They hummed with the rhythms and sounds of human activity and now lie silent and still. To visually share the location with others is to breathe life back into it, if only for a short while. This shot shows a corridor that was used as an electrical cable run at a huge industrial complex in italy, the cables were slung over the concrete structures that line the corridor.
