In my work I'm always balancing on the line between abstract en figurative. Making patterns and compositions with shapes that are all relevant or related to the concept. But not all of them recognisable at first sight. I find a lot of inspiration in abstract art and De Stijl, but I also love Alexander Girard and Matisse.
