A Harlem native now living in Brooklyn NY, Frederick V. Nielsen’s photographic work, an eclectic mix of fine art, portraiture and fashion reflects his deep roots in the motion picture industry. A cinematographer himself, he is inspired by such notables as Gordon Parks and Ernest Dickerson. His still photographs display his cinematic sensibilities and his ability to reveal the beauty and humanity of his subjects.
