“Could Not Stop for Death”
Inspired by a poem by Emily Dickinson “Because I could not stop for Death
He kindly stopped for me
The Carriage held but just Ourselves

“Like the Moon, Half of Her was Hidden”
As she peer off into the midnight sky,
She slowly begin to scan the universe for the penetrating illumination of the moon.
She had hoped to devour its beauty and bring to her it’s lunar power,
As she stood below it with a cherishing heart.
On many past nights she had stared deeply into the night and felt the moon fill her.
It filled her with so many incredible moments in her life,
She now had fallen in love with the moon.
Like a lover, it held her tight within its grasp through the darkness of the night.
Then, when dawn came, She was awaken to the radiance of all of its

Not once has she failed, but lingered the doubtBefore she drank that mouth full of wild air, she hadn’t known what you were about.
