Djibril Drame is a young visual artist, journalist and publicist with over 10 years of experience. He is known amongst his visual peers as “Gadaay”. Djibril, well connected in the artistic world, embarked on many exhibitions and competitions in Europe, the US and in many African Countries.
Djibril Drame is among the pioneers and activists in the urban community who have traveled internationally due to his striking talents and captivating photography started through street art photography.
This project is a call for all the lost souls to reconnect with themselves, to seek for “Blackness”, to kill their “White Goat” and embrace their “Black Goat”. Being Black will save us.
My ancestors have been trying to heal humanity. Today it is my duty to continue the healing process with one of the best tool of knowledge transmission : photography.
