Re-reading this book after I found the most beautiful edition while in London last week. What has really struck me, returning to this after 5 years, is the dedication Burgess had to make this novel stand the test of time. The first person narration through the language of "Nadsat" is such a feat of brilliance and product of hard work.
Through the ultraviolence and the horrowshow depiction of a modern society what shines through is an author's desire to always be relevant through a careful construction of language.
Mainly sharing this because of the cover though! @ellowrites
