Looking to be educated.
Today I realised that I don't understand the concept of a gender spectrum. I suppose i initially look for an analogy and think of sexuality. In a sexual spectrum I think of people being attracted to a human and this spectrum can be thought of as a sexual preference; a range of people who resonate within us as a form of sexual urge. Generally I attach biological gender as the main splitting in this spectrum.
Within a gender spectrum I then assume we disassociate sexual preference. So I am thinking that maybe it's an internal feeling, or intuition which guides you towards how you assign gender. But what is it that makes me identify as a "Man" by anything other than my biology and that society tells me to call a human with XY chromosomes a man and XX chromosomes a woman?
If anyone has the time to educate me I would be so happy to talk and learn. I hope that nothing i have said is offensive to anyone - I tried to be careful with my language as much as I know possible.
