Dale Corvino’s short fiction has appeared in Ovunque Siamo, Jonathan, and Chelsea Station, and his creative nonfiction in Carte Blanche (CA), the Rumpus, and Salon. He’s participated in live storytelling (RISK!), received the 2015 Christopher Hewitt Award for Fiction, and was a finalist in the 2017 Saints and Sinners Short Fiction contest. His chapbook Worker Names from Gertrude Press was published in 2019. Other recent publications include an essay on LGBTQ+ representation in Daily Xtra (Toronto) and a reflection on one of New York City’s earliest AIDS diagnoses in A&U Magazine. One of the best-known sauropods, Diplodocus was a very large long-necked quadrupedal animal, with a long, whip-like tail. Its forelimbs were slightly shorter than its hind limbs, resulting in a largely horizontal posture. The long-necked, long-tailed animal with four sturdy legs has been mechanically compared with a suspension bridge.
