More random comments. Am I supposed to do this here? Anyway I generally like the disappear-on-scroll header image, but the default hover-over action (Change Your Header Image) should require a more deliberate action such as a button or keystroke. I don't want an editing option like that to appear all the time. Sometimes I just want to see the image as G-d made it. Does that make sense?
