— Spreading the news far and wide about the Triumph of our Sweetest Milady Spring. She dropped her wet dress and completely nacked runs through the world dizzling with her sweet nectar and wherever a drop has fallen to the ground - a snowdrop has bloomed. A liverleaf, a hyacinth, a crocus, a grape flower – all bowed to pay homage to Her. She takes a sit on a mound, a moss-covered rock, on a secluded grave and they directly turn into fresh velvet greenness. In Her suit fauna and nymph parade holding their hands – above their heads hovering swarm of butterflies: bellies and thights covered with sticky juices. Tart aroma of semen mixed with honey buds scent. Life stirs up without phoney shame. Mating season time, Mating season time, Alleluja! — add Gomulicki.
Maurycy Gomulicki (born 1969) artist, designer, photographer, collector, pop-culture anthropologist, author of spatial installations and short video-works. Hedonist deeply devoted and consequently promoting the Culture of Pleasure. Many of his pieces enter into a dialogue with eroticism and pornography – in this case, noteworthy works include a huge mural in the Zachęta Gallery in Warsaw: “Fertility Pop” (2008) or a series of collages titled “Pussy Mandala” (2008-9). Saturated color, explored as much in its vital potential as in a socio-cultural framework is an essential element in his artistic practice. Collaborates with Warsaw’s Leto gallery. Lives and works between Poland and Mexico.
