The Process of Art
We always see the finished product of an artist. But we rarely get to see the stages of development of a piece of art. With that said, its not always possible for the artist to explain everything they do. But some forms of art, digital art and sculpture in particular, allow us to glimpse the artists process. By following a piece of art from its beginning to its end we can in some ways start to grasp how and why an artist creates something.
So here you will find pieces of art where I've posted the step by step images in order for you to see the process. There is not time to post explanations of the various steps, but I think if you look at them you will gain a little insight into the processes I use. Each set will begin with the base image and work towards the completed art.

Notes on this piece
The Night Dancers was one of my first attempts at street art strictly on a digital scale. The photo was an original from my portfolio. The figures are mostly taken from body paintings I've done over the years. The graffiti came from other photo work I'd done. Its rough in comparison to some of the later street art pieces, but I have a warm spot for it, as I do for any of my prototype pieces.
