Life Tog Report: This was the Chinese Lantern Festival that came to Philadelphia for the second time this year. I believe it's an annual showing whenever possible. The lights are their best at night and there is a great configuration of animals features here that varies every time they come. On this occasion crowd was a mixture of predominately white young adults that wanted to get out for the evening. There were also a smaller group of Asians with very few African Americans represented. The Philadelphia LGBT pride day celebration had recently come to an end that day and one would guess they were there enjoying the sights as well because it was in that general area. Overall it appeared to be a quiet and safe "date night" activity for a number of couples from all backgrounds. There were some children present as you can see, but it appeared that as it got later into the night, most of the very young children understandably went home. I suggest that you attend the next time one is in your area...and Oh, bring your camera.
