#PHOTOGRAPHY Magazine 20 | The Women's Issue Submissions

From Francesca Woodman to Tomoko Sawada, female photographers have been a continuous source of inspiration using their practice to break down barriers in a vast range of subjects such as equality, social pressures and self-expression.

So as an all female run magazine, to mark our 5th birthday we're dedicating Issue 20 to all things female. Celebrating the creativity, diversity and the power of women's voices. This issue will feature solely women photographers depicting, discussing and presenting women's lives in a unique way. 

 
Show us your photography projects, zines, articles and photo essays. Work will be featured across our social media platforms and upcoming online issue to be released mid July. Selected artists will also be interviewed for the #PHOTOGRAPHY Magazine blog.

DETAILS

Post a minimum of 4 images including a link to the full series and social media accounts tagging @hashtagphotographymagazine and @ello - selected submissions that meet guidelines will be reposted
- Written submissions can be any articles, essays, interviews, photobook or exhibition reviews relating to women in photography and must be 1000 words max
- For physical photobooks and zine reviews, include a link to the project and if selected we will be in touch with a postal address
- Deadline for submissions is June 9th and selected artists will be notified and tagged in comments
