I'm not sure what niche Ello fits into. Right now, it seems like Twitter w/o the 140 character limit. The most compelling thing about Ello is of course, the no-ads, no-tracking policy but I'm not sure if that is going to be viable in the long run. For its own sake, I hope it succeeds.
