I am both an illustrator and a graphic designer. I graduated in Editorial Illustration but during the years I started to work as a graphic designer, so while I was working I also studied graphic design.
I love them at the same way, and when I can I put illustrations into my graphic works.
As an Illustrator I work in digital but also with ink and graphite, that's why I have others link dedicate only to this kind of works.

Born and raised in Switzerland, Barbara Libby-Steinmann moved to Marin County California in 1996. She earned a BFA in Visual Retail Display from Gestalterische Berufschule in Zürich, Switzerland, a BFA in Illustration from California College of the Arts, and a Single Subject Visual Arts Teaching Credential from Dominican University of California. She received National Board Certification in 2016. In 2018 Barbara was awarded Teacher of the Year. Her artwork has been published in Marin Magazine, Nothing but The Truth..., and on San Francisco Heart sculptures for the SF General Hospital Foundation. She resides with her husband and two cats in West Marin CA.
