Latest leaflet design from Highpoint Media
Highpoint Media have been assisting Bolton West Conservatives with their canvassing leaflet designs since 2010. Every year we provide BWC with design services and we also supply their printing. However, the latest inTouch newsletter was a special edition, which we want to share on Ello. The Conservative councillors did rather well in Bolton in the recent local elections (6th May 2021) - and managed to retain control of Bolton Council by a very small margin. BWC send out a huge thank you to all residents in both Westhoughton wards, with an assurance that they are working hard for the good of the town.
The newsletters we produce for Bolton West Conservatives are usually A4 size, folded to DL. However, a "BIG" thank you required something a bit more extravagant, so we designed this edition in A3 size and had the printers fold them twice as a double parallel fold to a final size of 297x105mm.
By design, the leaflet layout is pretty straightforward as it makes for quick and easy reading. Leaflets are ephemeral and most people will not take the time to read every word. The most involved aspect of the design creating a vector map which illustrates which wards of Bolton were won by which party. This map can now be used by BWC in their social media, website, signage and any print media.
