“Letting go the three lovelies”
Some days are just plain
Rough
And the three lovelies:
Anger
Depression
Anxiety
They reach for a foothold
And try to destroy
That which is my joy
It is days like this
When there are so many
Things at play
I have to simply say
God
I let go
Of what I can’t control
Because if I don’t
This shit will pull me under...
And you know
The letting go
It always makes me feel better
