After studying painting at Central St Martins I went on to study Politics Philosophy and Economics at the University of Manchester. Both my academic and artistic practice has come to motivate my creative investigation into the sublime, aesthetics, emotion and pattern. Loren Roberts (@lorenrobertsstudio)
Loren Roberts (b. 1963) is an American artist born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma. Having worked in the service industry for 40 years has offered him many opportunities for developing his craft. Loren has hung his paintings in restaurants, painted murals for clubs and has had his submissions accepted for gallery shows. His "brush" strokes are haphazard and determined. He doesn't linger long on one painting although it could take years to complete. "I'm looking for the beauty and it's a furious search."
Loren's paintings are privately collected across the U.S. and the U.K. He currently lives and works in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
