I'm looking at the robust and creative Ello community and wondering if it's time for me to shut down one of my other social media accounts and really turn my attention here. I love the community, have a decent amount of followers, but I'm wondering about the engagement.
I'm dedicated to promoting and supporting modern makers from around the globe, but I often find that social media has become the equivalent of mall walking or window shopping. I was just invited to start an Ello community and I really want makers to take the leap over, but if folks aren't going to click and explore the shops of these talented artists, it might just be a waste of valuable time.
My question to the @ello community is this: how often do you follow links? Are you likely to purchase from the makers you see here?
