Last Thursday I took the stage in the second act of Ignite Boulder's 30th event. It was a sold-out show at the Boulder Theater, which means there were 850 people in the audience. I've never spoken to a group that large before. Fortunately for me, they were incredibly supportive. My topic was about Creativity and Love, and the talk was well received. I have been pleased in the wake of the event to hear from people who attended the event and also friends who've only seen the video who were inspired by what I shared and are reconnecting with their creativity.
Towards the end of the talk, I challenged the audience to go out and find a friend or an acquaintance who feels stuck in their life, who's lost their creative spark and to inspire them. To share your creativity with them. To help them ignite their creativity again. I've heard from a few friends that they've gone out and done that. To me, that is the greatest success of all. Please enjoy the talk, and share with friends, both who are connected to their creativity, and not.
I was so inspired by the experience that I will for sure be speaking again. I hope to begin speaking regularly, on several related topics regarding creativity. My goal is to do a TEDx in the next year and to do TED within 3 years. I have work to do, and I know I can get there. Now back to creating.
