I've been away for quite a while and well a lot has happend.
First off, I took some time on the road and traveled to the old places I've been. I returned to the motherland of Texas and reunited with some old friends.
It was amazing seeing where I come from and how much have changed since I left. Old friends reciting old adventures, catching up with stories that happend in our absences.
It was lovely to remember that I still have a home where I come from. Celebrating our return with food in mexican style! I really ate more than I needed to but it was time for joy
and happiness. I didn't see one sad face that day. Sadly, I had to leave and return back to our needs.
I left back to San Antonio but not in a sad day but rather looking forward to it because more friends would seen and more stories would be told.
I got to see people I haven't seen in years! Childhood friends and relived those memories as well. I loved it! There were so many people to say hello
and goodbye to and not enough time. There special people I wish I had more time to share however, life has a course.
I stayed there about a week.
Then I left to Peru from which I am writing from. Here in Peru I signed up to give up my summer to starting doing good in the world. I volentueered to become
a translator and apply my engineering skills to complete a water system in a community in Cusco, Peru. I believe it was time to stop thinking about me and help those
who need it the most. I read once, "What kind of man is a man that does not try to change the world?" This is my two cents to the cause of helping those who don't have
the basic needs in life. My goal this summer to help others. Let's see how this goes.
P.S I have very limited internet access here. It will be a while when I write again.
