Philosophers Are Slow Robots
When not in a dusty corner engaged in the activity of cutting facets into motes to show off its tetrahedron structure to the darkness of pages never opened, filled with words never read, philosophers are slow robots running on modal and elementary logic platforms digesting intuitions and spitting out descriptions of value(s): false, true, maybe. Well designed flow charts are the stuff of lives worth living, a careers' worth of thinking. Time flows by centuries of rarely noticed ideas like so many well built castles standing empty, damp, frigid with untenability for whatever is cozy, comfortable. Meanwhile, philosophers are colloquially confused with Poets.
