Bio:
My name is Phuong Nguyen (aka Jacquell on social media) I’m a Vietnamese self-taught painter originally from Saigon and since 2017 I have moved my base to Bologna, Italy.
I work exclusively with watercolor on paper and I have a special love for details and delicate brush strokes. My artworks embrace my oriental origin and the harmony between human and nature (flora and insects to be precise) in a dark yet poetic world and how such coexistence embodies certain subtle, clandestine messages.
