I'm certain I've posted this before. It's one of my favorites. I'm an avid explorer via canoe. The canoe allows me access to some astonishingly beautiful and isolated wilderness. For several years I've been pushing the envelope on where people go. Amazingly, there are still places in the Florida wilderness that few, if any, people ever visit. It can be an inhospitable place and I've learned some valuable lessons on how to travel this landscape comfortably without negatively impacting it. I strive my best to leave as light a foot print as possible.
I have some big plans for the future. I want to continue exploring and photographing. It's a sensitive ecosystem under threat and I hope that what I'm doing will help illustrate how important it is that we protect it. I also hope I inspire others to get out and explore.
