Janine Dello (@janinedello)
I’m an Adelaide based figurative artist, working with oil on linen. My painting practice centres around the contemporary female experience. In my work I explore female culture, drawing inspiration from contemporary media such as fashion, magazines, film, music, poetry and everything weird and wonderful I see around me.

I AM RAven of RAven Art Studio. My inspiration is fueled by the vast array of island wildlife, the silence, the many comforts of nature, the gleaming speckle of the stars by night and yes, by the genius talents left over by the master of the arts themselves, Jacob Isaacszoon van Swanenburg, the challenging renditions passed to us from Rembrandt's chapter, and who can resist the realism of Willem Witsen's scenic harbor portrayals that long stay adrift on our minds, to name but a few. To these greats and so many others talents, I accredit my love and reverence for Visual Art.
My voice is my own and in painting, and creating I am heard. – RAven

Stefania Tejada (Colombia, 1990) explores and studies the female spirit, an immersion within the concept of identity and her personal evolution as a human where fashion and nature unite. She is in constant search of capturing her subjects when they feel most vulnerable or most powerful.
The face of her subjects acquire a special pre eminence; an exposed place. Her subjects connect returning the gaze, establishing a relationship and allowing the viewers to question themselves about the role of women in today’s society, allowing them to see the trace of the past and the present; to see what’s hidden behind those eyes.

Artists have always contributed to social commentary, holding up mirrors, reminding of things often overlooked or ignored. In viewing this work, my extended-hand is for you to remember your connection to the land, to each other.
We are in an unprecedented time. Whether you believe in climate change or not, we are violating our relationship to the ecosystems that sustain and nourish us. Some on our planet are already experiencing massive disruption. This body of work aspires to remind us all of our origins, our intrinsic residence in this natural world. We all come from the earth, and we will return to the earth.

While working on hit records in the music industry has played a driving force in his career, it’s Vakseen’s (born Otha Davis III) passion for the arts that has served as his key to sanity in the fast paced entertainment business. The self-taught, Floridian has developed a distinct collage-influenced painting style (Vanity Pop) that fuses elements of cubism, photorealism, fashion design and pop surrealism into vibrantly alluring, abstract portraits. While most viewers assume they’re viewing collage or mixed media art, each creation is in fact meticulously hand painted directly on canvas. Drawing distinct inspiration from our fascination with popular culture,
