Jarno Zampirollo ( Reggio Emilia 1974) is a Street Photographer. He started work in 2013 and immediately began to look for light and shadows, colors and whites and blacks, trying to capture moments, things, people who occasionally met on the street, or who was intentionally looking for, making unique and unique a moment different and ordinary trivial. Always looking for new sources of inspiration and new stimuli, every day, every experience lived, is for him a source of continuous growth in the world of Street Photography. He has received enormous feedback, including a first place in the Street Social category of the BSPF2017

Since my adolescence, I’ve always been interested with the work of the great photographers of the 20th century. At that time, I wondered what colors these great B&W artists saw in their lenses. To understand those moments of history, I specialized in colorization of old photographs. My goal is to find colors close to reality without undoing the essence of the original photo. This work offer a new perspective, however it is not a substitute to the original photograph consider it more as an alternate version. The photos I use come from the Library of Congress, they are mostly free from copyright restrictions. Sometime, unknown photographers.

After Facebook accused me of not being real & demanded proof in the form of documents, I packed my bags into a washtub and landed on this tropical island called Ello. This is my first day exploring that island. I'm hoping to find coconuts.
Update: I'm polyamorous, pagan (Wiccan AND Druid), an aromatherapist, and I have a cat. I have anxiety and depression. My life is tenuous, and I write about that. I also write about relationships, religion, whatever's on my mind. Unlike much of ello, I almost never post art photography or pictures of brilliant high-end sculptures I've made out of earwax. Actually, I haven't created a single earwax sculpture, ever. Sorry.
