Tomorrow, I'll be headed to Aspen for a nighttime race up the front side of the ski resort to support the cause of organ and tissue donation. It's a short event but a doozy - 2.5 miles, 3,267 feet of elevation gain, 25% average grade.
Summit for Life is one of my favorite events of the year. It's a fantastically well-run event, benefits a great cause (the Chris Klug Foundation), and for me, it serves the official start to the winter racing season!
If you're feeling charitable, I'd love your support. You can check out the details of the event and donate here.
