Happy Tuesday ✌️
Today we welcome Nabaroo to our Ello family, announce a ton of selections for three artist invites, Not For Print, MediaLive, and Rare Tempo, our new Android is in the Play Store, we updated search, we’d love your feedback on our daily emails, and of course this week’s giveaways.
Ello Acquires Nabaroo
We are super pleased to welcome the members of Nabaroo to Ello. Nabaroo was a thriving community of creators and after talking with founder Rory Trankler, we quickly realized we shared many, if not all, of the same values. We decided to combine forces and bring Nabaroo into the Ello fold.
As of last week, all Nabaroo accounts have been migrated into Ello. If you had an Ello account and a Nabaroo account (with matching usernames) we didn’t migrate anything for you.
Follow or visit the @nabaroo account where we will be reposting our newest member’s work.
Here is a quick note from Rory:
“I started Nabaroo two years ago with a mission to build an online network exclusively for creatives, one that would provide inspiration, community, and professional opportunity. My goal has always been to have a full social network and not just a portfolio site. The site has grown quite a lot since inception, but I’ve struggled to make the funding work out. I don’t believe in filling the site with ads, and I don’t believe in charging the user. Ultimately, I think the best way to make money is by helping to make artists’ money.”
