I photograph architecture and interiors. I find public architecture the most interesting. I focus on showcasing the architecture “of our time.”
As I get up and running and familiar with Ello, I will be sharing photos from my archives, commissions and personal projects. I look forward to connecting with architects, developers, designers, journalists, historians, and anyone else interested in the built environment.
I’m based in Denver, Colorado. I am originally from Minnesota. I’ve moved around a lot in my life, having lived in Arizona, Belgium, Boston, Atlanta, and Fort Lauderdale.
Lately, I’ve been fascinated by the work of world renowned architect, Antoine Predock. Pictured here is the Gateway Center(AKA-McNama Alumni Center at the University of Minnesota) he designed in Minneapolis. Predock’s work is inspired by the site’s landscape, it’s cultural and geological history. His buildings don’t just sit on top of the ground, trying to fit in with neighboring buildings, they become part of the Earth, as if they have always been there.
