Canvas, paper, and a drawing tablet aren't my only creative tools, I also dabble in designing and creating costume pieces and hand-painting jackets. Here are a few examples.
The top image is me and my twin wearing matching 'dot' headpieces we designed together inspired by the graphic motif of the current Pet Shop Boys' album 'Super'. My twin thought up the design and I worked out the construction. We've made a few of these since. The middle image is myself posed with a painting of David Bowie I was exhibiting at a gallery, the theme of the show was time. The black jacket at the bottom has a painted homoerotic desert cowboy scene inspired by the works of George Quaintance on the back. The overall look was my take on a classic Nudie suit from the 70's. It was a commissioned piece, the person provided the jacket and let me do whatever I wanted with it. Knowin the person didn't really like all black clothing I went for a bright Southwest inspired colours to lighten it up.
