"It's hard to find a connection with something you so desperately wanted gone, but being able to see the trauma unfold in such a distinct pattern has been an experience I never expected to enjoy."
Since I started taking this seriously I've developed an appreciation for the long term, for watching something unfold over decades and how it says what I've failed too.
Featured in Independent Curators International "do it" exhibition, presenting my interpretation of "Black Lines" by Hassan Sharif.
I'll be presenting three pieces next year alongside Nall Hollis, Bruce Larsen, and Casey Downing
HawtestKitty Art (@hawtestkittyart)
Hawtest Kitty's art is a youthful and angsty version of American abstract expressionism (1940-1950s). HK's paintings are meant to be visceral and messy, yet maintain varying levels of coherency through color, line weight, and composition. For full effect, the work is often best viewed at a slight distance.

I'm a proud queer, plus size, creative womxn. I empower womxn to find confidence in their Body, Brand and Business the same way I did. I do that through my art as well as through my coaching. Because I believe that we can empower our mind and our bodies and create a life we want to live!!
