Hello Ello! Just figuring things out here, but in the meantime I wanted to share a photo from Milford Sound in New Zealand I took on my birthday last February. Such an awesome place! I ventured away from the main tourist paths into some pretty soggy ground to find an angle of the impressive mountains with a little of the grassy/wet/rocky foreground for comparison in this photo. The sun was just about to drop below the peaks to the left so there were some pretty strong shadows - I really liked the effect it had on the mountains in the background.
Shot this with my Canon Rebel T3i with a Canon 10-22mm lens (10mm, f/11, ISO 100).
This is three exposures taken handheld, merged to HDR in Photomatix. Then a little editing with Lightroom and Nik Color Efex Pro 2 to make things pop.
