Jen Fitzpatrick (@jenfitzzpatrick)

     Jen Fitzpatrick’s practice is rooted in the grammar of material, shape and color that articulates awareness, puzzling, and the flickering between nonsense and truth. Her practice is interdisciplinary, conjugating signifiers within graphic shape and narrative objects, materiality and chroma, play and the markers of time. Her work is situated in the question of identity and the development of “true self”.

   Jen received her BFA in Graphic Design and Art Education in 1988 from the University of Michigan, an MA in Sculpture from Wayne State University in 1995, and an MFA in Studio from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2021.
