One of my first portraits on medium format! David here helped me out with a photography project called Anatomical I, a project that focused on figure study and using lighting to create interesting shapes, lines and evoking a mood. David was kind enough to bare with me while I was first using my Bronica ETRSi to photographed him, and clearly I missed the focus, juuuusstt a little bit aha.
This was shot on Ilford HP5, with a Zenzanon 75mm at F2.8. Despite the ETRSi not being a Hasselblad or Contax, the Zenzanon 75mm, which was a standard lens that came with the camera as a kit, was an incredible lens with an extreme close focus and its widest aperture has reputable sharpnesss. There's something about medium format film.. the size, the detail, it has a completely different feel from 35mm, the tangibility is amazing.
I'm excited to start Anatomical II this year, and if anyone is interested in seeing Anatomical I I would be more than happy to share these with you :)
