Movement Through the Art Work//
"A series of images taken at Time Raiser 150, where art is used to motivate spectators and art enthusiasts to bid volunteer hours in exchange for an artist's work. This to me is the meaning of community; striving to do good and using time to support others, strangers that maybe one day call a friend. The idea of using volunteer time to support an artist is amazing to me, a collective group of individuals willing to volunteer time for a charity in order to support a local artist. One goal, thousands of people."
Jesús Maza is a visual artist from Venezuela, living in Niagara Region, Canada. He focuses on street and fine art photography using, primarily, film to portray messages or concepts like his latest series Anatomical I where he used human anatomy and lighting to portray the human body in a surrealistic and conceptual manner.
