Ok, I signed on here, but I have lagged in posting some images / stories.
Here's a shot from August 2009. Several weeks after this image was taken, I suffered a barotrauma (pressure related injury) in my right ear. Yeah, that sucked.
As a result of this injury, I spent the next seven months without diving; the longest time out of the water in the thirteen years since I got certified to dive. After a few touch and go moments over the past 5 years, I've been able to do some diving here and there. If you haven't had the chance, I highly recommend it!
These sea nettles jellies were a real treat to dive with and I was happy to be able to swim with them as I feel they are a very photogenic species. As you can see, there were plenty of them.
